Harley-Davidson Softail description

NO RESERVE!  NO RESERVE!  NO RESERVE!

This is my 2011 HD Crossbones I bought new in February of 2011.  This bike is in excellent condition as there is not a scratch on it anywhere.  I have always garaged this bike and it has been serviced by the local HD shop since new.  This was the last year for the Crossbones and is your chance to build a really cool ride.

This bike drives and handles great.  I don't know if it is the big fat tires, the slightly higher up seat position, the mini-apes, or what.  I just know it drives and handles really well.

Much more over here:

I should point out the pics don't really do justice to the color.  I had a really hard time getting the camera to record this color correctly.  Trying to get the color of the bike to look right caused the background in the pics to look rather blue.  Anyway, the color is officially called Sedona Orange.  I think these pics make it look a little too red.  I would describe it as HD orange or a burnt orange.  It is definitely not reddish. You really need to see it in person to appreciate it.  It is arguably the best color HD has ever sprayed on a bike.  The contrast against the black is stunning!

I bought this bike new with the intention of building a really neat bobber style of bike.  Those big fat tires, black rims, and springer front end make for a really good start for this style of bike.  Google HD Crossbones pics if you want to see what some people have done with these bikes.  The springer front end is just so cool and it works really well.  Springers are getting harder and harder to find.

This Crossbones is completely stock except that I added the passenger pillion/sissy bar and windshield when I bought it.  Both have quick detach hardware so it is a snap to remove either or both.

Why am I selling?  Well, I'm not getting any younger and I decided I wanted a touring bike to take some long trips while I'm still able so I bought a HD Road Glide.  As much as I like the Crossbones, I can't keep both.

So here is your chance to get something really cool.  Old style bobber looks with modern reliability.  Looks perfect, drives perfect.  I have clear title so come and get it.  I guarantee you won't be disappointed.  If you are looking at other Crossbones you know this is a very low starting bid, and this is a NO RESERVE auction!!  Please ask questions before you bid and please don’t bid if you don’t have the money.  Thanks for looking!
