Harley-Davidson Softail description

have a 1995 softail custom ,turned into a sick looking and riding bobber, springer front end, jockey shift, peanut tank, floor boards,21'' front wheel,200mm rear wheel etc etc.... Real cool looking bike. The bike has 2500 ORIGINAL miles. I bought the bike from a Harley Davidson motorcycle collector. It was a stock softail classic when i bought it. I started and finished turning it into a bobber in 2013. All the work was done by a certified ,very reputable harley mecahnic. The bike has alot of brand new parts, not used or swap meet parts. Both front and rear brake setups, gas and oil tank, wheels and tires, floor boards, hand controls, jockey shift, belt, belt pulley, rear swingarm, handle bars, springer seat, license plate bracket, springer front end,and i also had a special gear installed in the transmission where the neutral gear is all the way down, so your not playing around looking for neutral when you come to a stop. That part alone cost me $400. I have a clean and clear Ct state title ;; the bike has a Harley Davidson title, not a aspt,or composite title. It is currently registered and insured in ct. The reason im trying to get rid of it is because i have a cruiser also,, i love having both, but the truth is, I barely have anytime to ride one bike let alone two bikes. ...Call or text anytime with any questions or offers,,Lorenzo 203 970 7360

Happy Birthday Elvis!

Fri, 08 Jan 2010

Born on January 8th, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi, Elvis Aaron Presley would have been 75 years ago today if he was still alive today.  As a tribute to “The King” of Rock and Roll, the Harley-Davidson Museum has created a special exhibit, expanding on the semi-permanent collection from Elvis that has been on display since the museum was opened in 2008. The bill of sale, insurance, and registration papers for the 1956 Harley-Davidson KH pictured above will be on display along with the motorcycle that was owned by Elvis and the Graceland Museum has loaned some rare photos for the occasion. Along with Cadillac’s, Elvis had a passion for motorcycles but especially loved his Hogs and rode Harley’s in many of his films, including Roustabout (1964), Viva Las Vegas (1964), Clambake (1967) and Stay Away Joe (1968).
