Replica 1912 Harley Davidson. Made of replica and original parts. Heavy frame with British or Japanese motor? Original Albion 3 speed transmission.Kick start. Original carbide front lamp with kerosene tail lamp. Hand clutch and front brake. Bike is fast and not a toy. Heavy 26" spoke wheels with heavy duty street tires. Springer seat on ridged frame. Runs great and starts on the first kick. Has rear and " jiffy" stands. HD foot boards. Original Klaxton push horn. Stewart speedo that is not currently working. Registered as antique in Mississippi but no title so will come with bill of sale only. Scabbard not included.

Music and Motorcycles Exhibit

The four-day “Music and Motorcycles” exhibit, presented by the Long Island Music Hall of Fame (LIMHOF), will be on public display at the Lighthouse Harley-Davidson dealership in Huntington Station, NY. The exhibit will feature memorabilia and motorcycles from many inductees from the LIMHOF including, Joan Jett, Billy Joel, Dee Snider, The Ramones, Darryl McDaniel of Run DMC and more. Billy Joel will be supplying several custom bikes, Twisted Sister have agreed to loan one of their motorcycles and a gas tank signed by Jett, Snider, Peter Tork of The Monkees, Gary U.S.

Q1 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Sales Down 14.7% from 2011

U.S. motorcycle sales were down 14.7% over the first quarter compared to the same period last year, reports the Motorcycle Industry Council. The industry group, which collected data from 20 reporting manufacturers, says American consumers bought 93,375 motorcycles and scooters in the first three months of 2013, down from the 109,425 vehicles purchased in the same period of 2012.
