This is simpy the nicest running & riding classic Harley I have ever ridden. 1969 was the last year for the Panhead or Generator bottom Shovelhead. This bike was completely restored in 2010 and has only 6,090mis since complete. The motor and trans were completely rebuilt. The motor & trans are OEM original Harley and have matching vin#. Original HD Frame. The previous owner built this bike to ride and it is so smooth. It's swingarm frame along with the leather pogo seat rides softer than a new Bagger. The motor pulls strong and runs fantastic. Transmission shift smoothly. This is a very solid bike.Old drum brakes have been upgraded to disc brakes w/ genuine HD banana calipers. Swingarm is chrome as well as brake linkage. Many other extras/upgrades like S&S Super E carburetor, chrome handlebar controls, new windshield, drag pipes, chrome tappets, oil temp gauge, chrome shocks, chrome rotor cover, smooth rear fender, custom rear light bar, chrome chain guard, chrome front fender trim, chrome layback tag bracket, and much more. Zero Motorcycles Launches Dealer Network
Tue, 12 Jul 2011Zero Motorcycles announced a new network of eight dealerships as the electric motorcycle company begins the transition from an online-based sales model to a traditional showroom sales model. Until now, Zero conducts its sales over the Internet with the help of a system of Independent Representatives around the country who use a handful of demo models instead of actual inventory to showcase the brand. As both demand and production have increased, Zero is ready to adopt a new dealer-based model.
Owner of Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson Found in Japan
Wed, 02 May 2012Harley-Davidson representatives in Japan have identified the owner of the motorcycle lost in last year’s tsunami but later found on a remote beach in Canada. The 29-year-old owner, Ikuo Yokoyama, lives in Yamamoto, Japan, in Miyagi Prefecture, the region hardest hit by the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Yokoyama survived the disaster but lost three family members and is still living in temporary accommodations.
