This is an original 1954 Harley FL Panhead. The bike was parked in 1969 and has an amazing patina. Plenty of shops are trying to create this look but only time can create a masterpiece such as this. Gone are the days that everyone wants glossy paint and shiny chrome. This is the look everyone wants today. It's called "barn fresh"! This is the 50th Anniversary special with an original gold plated medallion on the front fender. The bike was repainted some time in the late 1950's and updated to look like a 1956. There are no repop parts. It does have a pair of period correct Superior fishtail mufflers and Buco saddlebags that I've never seen before. Bike has no issues what so ever - nothing Ying Yang on this ride. Most everything is fairly new No speedometer just go like hell. chrome o ring chain starts very easy all the time, goes down the road with no issues. No oil leaks and the oil stays in the tank over the winter when not used start it up in the spring and you have no oil pissing out on the floor. 1954 PANHEAD, STRAIGHT LEG FRAME, SPRINGER FRONT END (1954)
1954 Harley Davidson Panhead, with matching transmission, etc in a straight leg aftermarket frame, springer front end, king/queen seat and upswept pipes, sissy bar. Also has mousetrap clutch lever. Has front wheel to make it a roller but will need correct wheel and brake, if desired. Purchased off ebay but no time to complete. Heads are prefect except mod for different intake, no broken or cracked fins. Has clear Florida Title as 1954 Harley Davidson. All numbers match including the bottom of cases and the right side has the VIN number also. Also included a picture of title. The perfect winter project for bike week 2014. Thanks for looking. The springer front end, frame, tanks, seat, rear end, rear wheels, beauty rings, hubcaps and box support assembly are all Harley OEM. Does have parking break lever OEM.
