2012 Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two and Softail Slim Revealed

As expected, Harley-Davidson pulled the wraps off of two new 2012 models, the ’70s-styled Seventy-Two Sportster (pictured above) and the bobber-styled Softail Slim. Motorcycle.com‘s Tom Roderick attended the launch of the two new 2012 Harley-Davidson models and he’ll have a full report. Harley-Davidson Recalls 250,000 Motorcycles for Rear Brake Light Switches

Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall for 250,757 units from its Touring, CVO Touring and Trike line from model years 2009 – 2012. The rear brake light switch on the models in question may become degraded due to the heat from the exhaust systems. This may affect brake light function and may result in a brake fluid leak.

A Man of LOVE

I had a unique opportunity this week to sit down with Oliver Shokouh, the founder of the Love Ride, only days before the 25th anniversary of the purportedly largest one-day rally in the world, kicks-off this coming Sunday, October 26.
