The 2013 Harley Ultra Classic Electra Glide FLHTCU provides touring style with many upgrades, including a Harley motorcycle sidecar. The Harley Ultra Classic Electra Glide model features a powerful air-cooled Twin Cam 103 Harley engine with 6-speed cruise drive transmission, providing more performance power for passing, hill-climbing, and riding with passenger and luggage. The Harley Ultra Classic Electra Glide model offers two types of motorcycles wheels. Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle Vance & Hines Team Unveils Restyled V-Rod Drag Bikes
Fri, 09 Mar 2012The Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines racing team unveiled its restyled V-Rod drag motorcycles ahead of the first Pro Stock Motorcycle round of the 2012 NHRA Full Drag Racing series. Reigning champion Ed Krawiec and Andrew Hines will compete for the Harley-Davidson team on new V-Rod drag bikes, restyled to more closely resembled the Night Rod Special production model. This marks the first restyling of Harley-Davidson’s NHRA competition bikes since the V-Rod entered the competition in 2002, and comes as The Motor Company celebrates the V-Rod’s 10th anniversary.“The goal was to make the drag racing motorcycles look more like the current production Night Rod Special motorcycle,” says Kris Schoonover, Harley-Davidson racing manager.
US Highland Making a Comeback
Thu, 13 Oct 2011US Highland appears to be making a comeback, announcing plans to begin processing new orders and having discussions with several OEMs for the use of the Oklahoma company’s powertrains. The Tulsa-based company did not mention which OEMs it is working with, though US Highland says the discussions could result in sales of over 20,000 units per year. The company is developing fuel injected V-Twin engines in 750cc, 950cc and 1050cc displacements and Singles in 350cc, 450cc and 507cc displacements.
Aerosmith and Toby Keith to Join Kid Rock as Headliners of Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary Celebrations
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Aerosmith and country artist Toby Keith were introduced as headline performers along with the previously announced Kid Rock for Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebration. Each headline concert will be held at the Marcus Amphitheater at the south side of Henry Maier Festival Park (A.K.A. the Summerfest Grounds) in Harley-Davidson‘s hometown Milwaukee.
