Harley-Davidson Other description

1997 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy , Beautiful 97 Fat Boy for sale. It has had many upgrades; exhaust, intake, cam, head work, carb work, lots of chrome, custom paint....ect. The bike was purchased new by a family member and approximately 10k in upgrades were added. I have all the paperwork showing everything that has been done. The bike has been garage kept even while I was deployed. I have had the bike for the last 11 years and have not had any problems. I get compliments on it everywhere I go and the chicks dig it. Now that I'm married (partly to do with the bike) and live in a different area I think it time for something new. I still love the bike and hate to see it go, but I'm ready for a new project. I'm not looking for any trades. I know what I want to get but I need to sell this first. Anyway, it's been a very reliable and dependable bike and I'm asking $8500 OBO. If you have any questions just let me know, thanks. $8,500.00

Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India

Fri, 18 May 2012

India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.
