Harley-Davidson Launches The Harley-Davidson Riding Academy

Harley-Davidson‘s rider training program has revamped itself and even changed its name. Now the new Harley-Davidson Riding Academy is the only national rider training program hosted by Harley-Davidson dealerships and conducted on an all-new Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Since its inception in 2000, Harley-Davidson’s rider training program has successfully trained more than 350,000 new riders with a premium Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF)-approved rider training experience that guides students on their journey from the classroom to the street with an emphasis on building student confidence on their road to independence.

Harley-Davidson Ultimate Learn-to-Ride Contest for Women

Harley-Davidson announced a new contest for women looking to get started into riding motorcycles. The “Ultimate Learn-to-Ride” Experience will award four women with a prize package including a new Harley-Davidson Sportster personally designed through the H-D1 Factory Customization program, $1,000 in Harley-Davidson apparel and a trip for two to Milwaukee to take the Harley-Davidson Riders Edge rider course. Pope Francis To Auction Harley-Davidson For Charity

During Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations earlier this year, Pope Francis was given not one, but two Harley-Davidsons, a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic and Dyna Super Glide Custom. Not one for gaudy excess (or a motorcycle ride for that matter), Pope Francis has decided to put both up for auction. Specifically, the Pope has donated the bikes to the Caritas charity near Rome.
