2012 Harley-Davidson V-Rod 10th Anniversary Edition and Updated Night Rod Unveiled

Harley-Davidson is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its V-Rod line with a few updates as well as a special edition model. First introduced in the 2002 model year, the V-Rod marked a new era for Harley-Davidson, with the V-Rod’s 1130cc 60-degree  V-Twin Revolution engine, the Motor Company’s first production engine with liquid cooling and overhead camshafts. The 2012 Harley-Davidson V-Rod line is equipped with the latest generation 1250cc Revolution engine with dual overhead camshafts,  four-valve cylinder heads and fuel injection.

2014 Biker Belles Symposium At Sturgis Buffalo Chip

On Tuesday, August 5th, at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, the sixth annual Biker Belles symposium presented by Harley-Davidson kicks off at The Lodge at Deadwood. Proceedings get underway with filmmaker, Michelle Carpenter, showing a clip from her new documentary about women riders, “Driven to Ride.” When Carpenter finishes, a panel of leading industry women will address attending participants, including motivational speaker and safety expert, Cat Hammes; Team Diva owner, Diva Amy Skaling; ROAR Motorcycles founder, Kathy Tolleson; National Online Director of Marketing & PR for Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys, Audrey Nesbitt; drag racer, Andie Gaskins; and more. Harley-Davidson CEO Wandell Named Chairman of the Board

Harley-Davidson President and Chief Executive Officer Keith E. Wandell has been named chairman of the company’s Board of directors. Wandell, who was named president and CEO in May 2009, takes over for Barry K.
