You are bidding on a 1979 FXS Lowrider. The motorcycle is in beautiful condition, but I am selling it due to a personal medical issue. I would ride this bike anywhere. Spring of 2012, we put on new tires, new drive chain, new Mallery ignition pickup, changed the drive chain ratio to 2 to 1, and redid the upper heads. Odometer shows 20,000 miles. Everything functions as it should. There is the normal wear and tear, just a few dents and dings, paint chips, all from being ridden to Sturgis in fall of 2012. Tue, 08 Oct 2013Harley-Davidson is recalling the 2014 Tri Glide Ultra Classic trike because of a problem with . At the moment, a recall has only been announced by Transport Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has yet to announce the recall due to the federal government shutdown, but recall notices are already being sent out to dealers in the U.S. According to the Canadian agency, the upper fork stem bracket was machined incorrectly, allowing for more steering angle than intended by the trike’s specifications.
Harley-Davidson Reports Q3 2013 Sales Results

The news caps off an important quarter for Harley-Davidson that included the company’s 110th anniversary celebrations and the launch of its 2014 lineup including the new Twin-Cooled engines and Project Rushmore enhancements.
