Ok This auction is for a 1968 Harley Davidson shovelhead motor trans and primary with paper! 98 ci stroker dual plugged s+s heads, total build sheet, 4spd trans and 3in open belt primary. title in hand as all pre 70 Harley are titled off the motor, currently sitting in a aftermarket 4spd chassis with flh front end and fatboy legs, chrome round swingarm,,,and will included forward controls and chrome oil tank... last pics show it in the rigid chassis I got it in,,, but not included in sale,,,this motor has very low miles since built, I'm only selling to buy one of the first bikes I ever built back! call 609-464-2576 deposit due at end of auction and is non refundable

Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley

Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
