This is an original 1954 Harley FL Panhead. The bike was parked in 1969 and has an amazing patina. Plenty of shops are trying to create this look but only time can create a masterpiece such as this. Gone are the days that everyone wants glossy paint and shiny chrome. This is the look everyone wants today. It's called "barn fresh"!
This is the 50th Anniversary special with an original gold plated medallion on the front fender. The bike was repainted some time in the late 1950's and updated to look like a 1956. There are no repop parts. It does have a pair of period correct Superior fishtail mufflers and Buco saddlebags that I've never seen before. They even have the original keys. I have recently serviced the bike and it now runs great. No smoke and it runs quiet and strong. It shifts through all the gears great. This is a very rare bike to find in this original survivor condition. It has never been restored. Call me for all the details or to schedule an appointment to view in person. Also for sale locally. AMA Pro Racing Announces Preliminary 2013 Road Racing Schedule
Fri, 09 Nov 2012AMA Pro Racing released a preliminary calendar for its 2013 Road Racing season. The tentative schedule contains nine confirmed rounds with another two to be confirmed. Next season will again see four classes of racing: AMA Pro National Guard Superbike, AMA Pro GoPro Daytona Sportbike, AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport, and the AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series which returns under its new name.
Brammo Hires Ex-Harley-Davidson Dealer Development Director
Fri, 10 Jun 2011Brammo has hired former Harley-Davidson dealer development director Jim Marcolina to develop the electric motorcycle maker’s North American dealer network. Marcolina was director of dealer development and dealer relations at Harley-Davidson after joining the Motor Company as a district sales manager. Brammo will rely on Marcolina’s experience working with Harley-Davidson’s dealer network to help establish its own fledgling network.
