Watching the promo videos that Harley-Davidson puts out does get me pumped.  Harley does however really seem to reinforce the stereotype of a typical Harley rider, I’m not sure if I am cool enough but the new Sportster Forty-Eight looks great!  Harley could use some positive feedback after they announced their Q4 results… Get the Flash Player to see this player. California Dealer to Produce Limited Edition Sons of Anarchy Harley-Davidson

Bartels’ Harley-Davidson, a dealership in Marina Del Rey, Calif., has signed a licensing deal to produce a run of limited edition Harley-Davidson motorcycles inspired by the FX drama “Sons of Anarchy“. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, Bartels will produce 100 units, each priced at about $25,000. The Sons of Anarchy Harley-Davidson models will go on sale in August when they are revealed at the Sturgis rally in South Dakota.

Forbes Expects Harley-Davidson to Announce Gains for Q3 2011

In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.
