Harley-Davidson Dyna description

Absolute beautiful 2008 Harley Davidson Dyna CVO FXDSE2. Excellent condition with only 10,622 miles. The Vance & Hines Super Radius Exhaust, Power Commander Five, Corbin Seat, 8" Paughco T-Bars, LED headlight / turn signals, Harley Davidson side plate, new battery and tires were installed at the 10,000 mile service. The onle imperfection is a small tank scratch. The original owner set the handle bars back to far and the turn signal casing caused the scratch. The buyer is welcome to the original handle bars and seat. I also have an extra set of Vance & Hines Dyna Big Shots which have small scratches from road debris. The bike has never been down or damaged other than the tank scratch. The Dyna FXDSE2 comes from the factory with the powerful HD 110 engine, inverted forks and 21" front wheel. I would prefer for the buyer to accept delivery in person as I will not accept returns. Paypal payment is expected within twenty-four (24) hours of the end of auction. Please ask questions before placing your bid. The photographs are of the actual item listed. Good luck and kind regards.

If you’ve been paying attention around here, you’ll know that we love ice racing here on Motorcycle.com. Editors Troy Siahaan and Tom Roderick got a first-hand taste of ice racing last winter, and we got a real kick out of seeing racers Brad Baker, Jared Mees and Nichole Mees taking Harley-Davidson Street 750s onto ice during the Winter X Games. That’s why we’re looking forward to the American Motorcyclist Association Ice Racing Grand Championships, Feb.

Built For Speed Art Exhibit To Be Displayed At Sturgis Buffalo Chip

Wed, 23 Jul 2014

“Built for Speed – Race Inspired Motorcycles and Art” is the title of Michael Lichter’s 14th annual “Motorcycles as Art” exhibition in Sturgis this August, which for the second year in a row, will be jointly curated by Michael and Paul d’Orleans of the Vintagent. ‘Built for Speed’ is sure to impress visitors with a beautiful and thought-provoking display of motorcycles and related art, the race-inspired theme making connections between motorcycle racing and custom bike designs inspired by racers. Each custom bike in ‘Built for Speed’ reflects a branch of racing; Speedway, Flat Track, Drag Racing, Board Track,  Grand Prix, Land Speed Record, and will be displayed beside the racing machines suggesting the origins of each style.

New Harley-Davidson Book Ties Together The Company’s Past

Thu, 08 May 2014

Margie Siegal, former columnist for IronWorks Magazine and motorcycle enthusiast has written a book on the history of the world’s most famous motorcycle, Harley-Davidson. Entitled,  Harley-Davidson: A History of the World’s Most Famous Motorcycle, the book ties together the mechanical evolution of the Harley engines, the social history of Harley and the beautiful visuals associated with Harleys in design, advertising, artful photography and collectibles. Harley-Davidson are words that evoke the open American road and the “Made in America” tradition like no others.
