Harley-Davidson Dyna description

DO NOT CONTACT ME OFFERING TO SELL THIS BIKE FOR ME (also no joy rides)

The bike was sitting for years, but it just had a full tune up this weekend (oil change, new filter, new plugs, new battery, transmission oil, primary case oil), and the bike is running great! Once you get new tires for it and the exception of a few blemishes, this is like getting a new bike.

1997 Harley Davidson Dyna Super Glide FXD ( Harley-Davidson). 127 original miles (not a typo...less than 150 miles)! The bike has been sitting for years. The bike is an excellent condition (needs tires).

I have original bill of sale (as well as a clean title). The original owner bought the bike in 6/97 for $12,098.82 from East Coast Harley Davidson in Dumfries VA. During 04/01 he sold the bike to an gentleman having put only 71 miles on it. The gentleman proceeded to put another 55 miles on it before storing it. Fast forward to 08/16 , I purchased the bike from the 2nd owner's estate with only 127 original miles on it.

Features a red finish, a two cylinder four-stroke engine, a 1340cc displacement, after market Screaming Eagles exhaust, and a La Pera seat.

Cash is king. First $6450 takes it!

2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout Recalled for Faulty Fuel Indicators

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

Harley-Davidson is recalling 2013-2014 Breakout models, including CVO versions, because the fuel level indication system may not be properly reading the correct amounts of fuel. As of this publishing, recalls have been announced by government agencies in Australia and Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not yet posted a recall but U.S.-based members of the Harley-DavidsonForums.com report American dealerships have already started receiving recall bulletins. According to a recall announcement by Transport Canada, some Breakout and CVO Breakout models may run out of fuel despite the fuel and range indicators indicating there is still enough fuel in the tank.
