Ducati Other description

Ducati 1957 175T.

This is a great rare bike with low mileage.
It is a running bike with a key. It will need a battery and has gas in the tank. The paint over the VIN has been scraped (which is shown in the pictures). There is numbering on the left side of the tank that looks like someone may have tried painting over it. Overall the bike has rust, scratches and paint chippings due to age. It has been part of my collection for the past 8 years. The seat is in great condition with no tears or signs of wear.

SOLD BOS ONLY -NO TITLE

The bike is located in Indianapolis and we encourage inspections.

Please call 317.502.2107 for any questions.

Rain Puts a Damper on Ducati MotoGP Test

Wed, 29 Feb 2012

Wet conditions limited Ducati factory riders Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden to just 18 laps each on the second of three days of MotoGP testing in Malaysia. Though there is a lot of work to be done for Ducati to be competitive, the heavy rainfall plus Hayden’s still-recovering shoulder limited track time for both riders. They used what time they did have to work on the Ducati Desmosedici GP12‘s electronics including new traction control software.

Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. Back when GPs were really good: Part 2

Tue, 01 Jan 2013

Rossi versus Gibernau at Brno in 2003. Most of the time Rossi and Gibernau came together, it was a classic in the making but while Rossi on the factory Honda hunting down Gibernau on the satellite Honda is well worth watching, the threat of a looming Bayliss on the Ducati makes this one even better. Gibernau, fresh from a win in Germany at the previous round - having beaten Rossi to the line by 0.060 seconds - was full of fight.
