Ducati Multistrada description

Priced to sell quickly since I just I bought the new 2016 model. This is a 2010 Ducati MTS1200 ABS non-S model (non-electronic suspension) that I bought new, still in the crate, in the Spring of 2011.

Features:
- Clean title
- California Registered until March 2017
- Transferable extended full warranty service contract valid until March 2018.
- BrakeTech Soft Ductile Iron Front Brake Rotor
- Ducati heated grips
- Rizoma "Feel" Levers
- Rizoma Tail Tidy with Rizoma LED indicator lights
- Michelin PR3 tires. Plenty of life left.
- New battery

The bike has 45k miles on it, and it has never let me down. (Note, the mileage was reset due to the Dashboard ECU being replaced by the dealer and documented). This motorcycle is 100% and has been checked on by a Ducati Master Mechanic recently.

Major valve service (with belts) completed and all services performed by a dealer (Marin Speed Shop/San Rafael, CA) or a Ducati Master Mechanic (Pasta Performance/Rancho Cordova, CA).

It's official: Ducati's Diavel IS a cruiser

Wed, 05 Mar 2014

OKAY, it's not official. But a deserving way to gain a moniker you don't like is to go around telling people not to call you it - and Ducati has just released this promo video for the new Diavel titled 'Don't call me a cruiser'. So it's officially forever a cruiser to us.

Press launches - the ugly truth. Part 3

Sun, 03 Apr 2011

So with an afternoon of sightseeing completed (a rare luxury on most launches) it's back to the hotel for the press conference. These are you usually long winded, tooth pulling affairs with Japanese technicians insisting on speaking their bestest engrish which only serves to elongate the proceedings. Nothing kills a presentation more than reading every word of a powerpoint slide verbatum, even thought the viewers can read exactly the same words (and probably a lot faster).  The Crossrunner presentation was mercifully brief and snappy followed by dinner in the hotel and a reasonably early night as everyone had already been up for twenty hours.

Michael Schumacher Riding the Ducati 1199 Panigale

Tue, 11 Dec 2012

Formula One racing star Michael Schumacher is a noted motorcyclist, having competed in various motorcycle races after his initial retirement from car racing. Schumacher was no slouch either, and once received an open invitation to ride a Honda in the World Superbike Championship. Schumacher recently got a chance to ride motorcycles on a track, taking part in a track day at the Paul Ricard circuit in France organized by Monster Energy and Mercedes-Benz.
