You are looking at 2012 Ducati Monster 696. Purchased by my wife new and road less than 1,000 miles since. A few things I need to point out. A) Bike has a Ducati lower seat, original goes with the bike also. B) LED lights (with remote) were added last year. C) Right after she purchase the bike it did fall over in our driveway. Mirror and clutch peddle were damaged; both were replaced with new by Ducati of Indianapolis, IN. Last year the battery was replaced by the dealer and sense then the bike has been on a battery tender and covered in my garage. Runs great. Also include in this auction is a men's larg grey Scorpion full face helmet and a women's small white full face helmet. Both come with helmet bag as well. Mon, 24 Sep 2012When Ducati announced the updates for its 2013 Multistrada 1200 lineup, the Italian manufacturer was surprisingly quiet about the line’s most notable upgrade, the Ducati Skyhook Suspension. All we were told was the system is a semi-active suspension using Sachs components that adjusts its damping settings to varying riding conditions. Ducati has now provided more information about the DSS technology which will be standard equipment on the three “S” versions of the Multistrada 1200, the Touring model, the sportier Pikes Peak model and the new flagship Granturismo model.
Ducati Announces 2012 848evo Racing Contingency Program

FreedomRoad Financial has partnered with Ducati and is offering substantial cash payments to race winners. Eligible series include CCS, CMRA, CRA, USBA, MRA, OMRRA, WMRRA, AFM and WERA, with cash payments equaling $300 for third place, $600 for second, and $1200 for first, payable via cashier’s check. Ducati and FreedomRoad Financial will support and follow racers with PR activities, including regular updates on ducatiusa.com.

Those who take up the hobby to save money on gas find themselves spending a fortune on riding courses, gear and vanity signs that hang in their garage saying “Motorcycle Parking Only.” Others who get serious about the sport of motorcycle racing find themselves spending an arm and a leg on tires, replacement parts and silicon implants for the girls who hold their umbrellas for them in between heats.
