2008 Ducati 1000 SportClassic Sport S with only 311 miles on it. Always stored and covered in heated garage, never wet, never dropped, no scratches, never raced, and never abused. Perfect like new condition, purchased as an investment / rolling piece of art, which it is.
The tank was replaced many years ago because of the gas issues. I only use ethanol-free gas when I run the bike. Upgrades / spares include: Ducti fairing lowers (yes the short lowers to main fairing come with the bike). Recently installed Termignoni mufflers but have not flashed the ECU. Spare Ducati wind screen slightly taller than the base screen. Lithium battery with charger. Will provide additional photos of the Termignoni mufflers exhaust and the mileage counter shortly. Fri, 24 Aug 2012At Brno today Valentino Rossi had a positive session in free practice, finishing closer and within half a second of the fastest time set by Dani Pedrosa. With a best of 1:57.315 and only .457 off Pedrosa's 1:56.858 lap. But it's not just the time that is encouraging, it's the first time in a long while that Rossi has looked more like his old self on the Desmosedici. "I’m happy because we went pretty well today, and in particular, the gap to the front makes us fairly optimistic," Rossi said after free practice.
Ducati Signs Chaz Davies and Davide Giugliano to WSBK Factory Team
Mon, 28 Oct 2013Ducati announced the signing of Chaz Davies and Davide Giugliano to race on the 1199 Panigale for the World Superbike Championship. The two riders will race for Ducati’s full factory team, which will operate without Team Alstare, which ran Ducati’s WSBK program this season. Both Davies and Giugliano have signed two-year contracts with Ducati.
Misano Moto GP. Was it Divine Intervention?
Thu, 20 Sep 2012I’m still buzzing from an amazing weekend of Moto GP in Misano. It took until Saturday lunchtime for the sun to get his hat on but from there on in the atmosphere at both the circuit and the nearby beachfront was first class. As usual on race day we had epic Moto 3 and Moto 2 races with respective champions elect Cortese and Marquez once again taking victories by just fractions of a second.
