Buell Ulysses XB12XP description

 This special edition, Police Special Duty, Ulysses is #96 of only 137 ever made. It has only 19.5K miles and rides/runs perfect. The adjustable suspension, heated grips, and modded seat (gel insert and added heat shield) make this bike very comfortable to ride. The bike also comes equipped with the Buell Comfort Kit which includes heat shield on exhaust, air scoops for more air flow, and a cooling fan on the rear cylinder. I also have A LOT of extras to go with this bike such as: waterproof Garmin GPS, full set of factory HB cases with unused liners, two black fly screens (one autographed), unused standard windshield, new brake pads, new rear tire, new drive belt, owners manual and repair manual. It also has the police wire harness and siren mount on the frame, but the bike was never equipped with the lights or siren. Erik Buell Racing Teams with Hero MotoCorp

In a case of East meets West, Hero MotoCorp has signed a partnership agreement with Erik Buell Racing that will see the Indian manufacture sponsor the EBR AMA Superbike team and potentially introduce Buell-designed motorcycles to India. Hero MotoCorp will sponsor riders Danny Eslick and Geoff May and their EBR 1190RS race bikes in the AMA Superbike Championship. Eslick will represent Team Hero while May will represent AMSOIL Hero.

FIM Eases WSBK Homologation Requirements

With the 2014 World Superbike Championship now under way, the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) announced a change in the homologation procedure for new motorcycles entering the series. The new regulations requires a minimum of 125 units produced in order to begin the homologation process. By the end of the first year of participation, manufacturers must have produced 250 units.

The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.
