Have over $22,000 invested here. I paid $ over $19,000 plus all accessories and labor. Someone will make out huge !!! This bike is equipped with the industry leading safest electronics including ABS, traction control, Shift assist pro. 5 riding modes including Rain. Sport. Race, slick and User modes. I never rode it past sport mode. It also has the lates in launch control. DTC. Put limited mode,on board computer with lean angle sensors and data bank all built in to the display for on the fly adjustments. Tires have been upgraded from the original Metzler to Michelins super sticky Power Cup Evo. Larry Pegram’s EBR 1190RX AMA Race Livery Looks Sharp!
Wed, 05 Mar 2014In January news broke that Larry Pegram would be teaming up with Erik Buell Racing to race the 1190RX in AMA Superbike. At the time no official photos were revealed, but that’s all changed as Pegram posted these pictures of his completed 1190RX in full race livery on his Facebook page. These photos were captured during team testing in Florida, and the colors show off the all-American design motif.
US Motorcycle Sales First Half 2011 Results
Thu, 28 Jul 2011The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .
BMW Names Schaller New Head of Motorcycle Development
Fri, 28 Feb 2014BMW has appointed Karl Viktor Schaller as its new head of BMW Motorrad development. Schaller will replace Christian Landerl who headed motorcycle development since November 2008. Schaller studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich before becoming a scientific assistant at the research institute for gear wheels and gear manufacturing.
