I am the original owner of this fully equipped motorcycle. It is in excellent condition and has run flawlessly for me for years. As listed below it includes a on board navigation system (BMW Motorrad Navigation IV). It has been stored in doors and has never dropped in motion. However, it has fallen over twice in garage/parking lot situations on opposite sides (of course!). The only indications of these incidents are scuff marks on both saddle bags. The only other blemishes are boot wear mark on both sides rear of pegs, and a very slight scratch on the front right upper spoiler. The last three photos document these. All scheduled maintenance has been performed with documentation available upon request. Annual inspection is scheduled to be completed during this auction period. The tires are new and have less that 250 miles on them. I reserve the right to list this item on other venues and to remove it from this auction in the event it is sold through these alternate means. BMW Reports Record Sales in 2012
Wed, 09 Jan 2013BMW reported a record year for motorcycle sales, supplying 106,358 motorcycles and scooters in 2012. This represents a 2.0% increase from the 104,286 units sold in 2011. Helping BMW reach its new sales record was a strong December which saw sales of 6,069 units worldwide, a 43.4% increase from the 4,232 units sold in December 2011.

BMW Sells Husqvarna to Pierer Industrie AG

The acquisition will proceed subject to approval by anti-trust authorities.
