2010 BMW F 800 GS, The BMW F800GS is the smaller alternative to BMW's R1200GS top-selling dual-sport model. The F800GS is lighter in weight, ideal for the rider who prefers an easier to handle bike. It is powered by a parallel twin-cylinder 798cc engine that produces 85 bhp and 62 ft-lbs of torque. A rugged chain drive transfers power from the engine through a six-speed gearbox to the 17-inch aluminum rear wheel. The F800GS features an asymetrical headlight cluster and an under seat fuel tank. This Lava Orange Metallic / Black Satin 2010 F800GS is equipped with anti-lock brakes (ABS), Heated Hand Grips. This bike also has the center stand option, low seat option, Barkbuster hand guards, Kaoko throttle control, Touratech kickstand pad, wired in trickle charger and of course the Touratech/BMW side aluminum side cases and top box. Also included in this sale is the Garmin Zumo GPS System which is wired into the bike. I will leave some of my routes installed for your use. I have just had the tires replaced, only twenty miles on them. Its got a new inspection sticker... It's ready to go. The bike did have a fall over incident and in this completely stopped fall over, the bars bent slightly. I am now use to it myself but I have to let potential buyers know. Why am I selling? I now have two kids in college and I find myself needing to downgrade the bike and besides, I haven't been able to ride as much as the bike deserves. This thing is a sport bike for the dirt. The bike was purchased at Bogart Motorsports in Birmingham, AL in February of 2010. It had it's 600 mile check-up on April , 2010.
