I am selling my 1999 BMW F650 Funduro/Classic. It has 11,9xx miles today but I still ride it so could break 12,000 within a week. I love this motorcycle and it has always treated me well. I have used it to commute over the past couple years but I am now in the process of buying a new motorcycle. This is a single cylinder 652cc Rotax engine and is the more offroad oriented version of BMW's F650. 1999 was the last model year before the F650 became "F650GS".
Only thing not included is the soft wolfman luggage (2 soft bags in the picture) Bike needs a new seat cover and previous owner dropped it as you can see from the nicks in the clock and the painted section on the fairing. Mon, 14 Apr 2014Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes put on a clinic this weekend, leading every lap in both races to claim a pair of wins at Spain’s Motorland Aragon circuit. Sykes’ Kawasaki teammate Loris Baz was right there with him, recording a pair of second-place podiums to give Team Green a pair of one-two finishes. Sykes and Baz were also one-two in the Superpole qualifying on this nearly flawless weekend for the Kawasaki factory team.
BMW Names Schaller New Head of Motorcycle Development
Fri, 28 Feb 2014BMW has appointed Karl Viktor Schaller as its new head of BMW Motorrad development. Schaller will replace Christian Landerl who headed motorcycle development since November 2008. Schaller studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich before becoming a scientific assistant at the research institute for gear wheels and gear manufacturing.
