BMW and Tom Tom Join Forces

TomTom, the location technology specialist, has announced that it will provide its comprehensive navigation stack to BMW Motorrad’s global lineup. Utilizing TomTom's maps, navigation, and real-time traffic services, BMW Motorrad's new models will offer an advanced built-in navigation experience. This system can also be accessed via the BMW Motorrad Connected App, available for both Android and iOS.

Husqvarna Introduces Four-Year Warranty on LC8c Models

The Pierer Mobility Group continues its attempts to rehabilitate the reputation of its brands and, in particular, its models with reported camshaft issues, by introducing a new four-year Premium Manufacturer's Warranty on Husqvarna models that use the LC8c platform. The warranty affects the Svartpilen 801 and Vitpilen 801 models as well as the Norden 901 and Norden 901 Expedition adventure bikes. The Premium Manufacturer's Warranty applies worldwide at no additional cost, is transferable, and is activated at the first service at an authorized dealer.

New Tour-Pak Designs Hint at the Future of Harley-Davidson Limiteds

Long-haul touring models have yet to receive Road Glide and Street Glide updates Harley-Davidson recently updated its Street Glide and Road Glide models, introducing a number of changes including new fairing designs with integrated lighting. While not every one is a fan of the new batwing or shark nosed fairings, it does seem odd that the new fairings hadn’t yet made their way to the Road Glide Limited and Ultra Limited models.
