Aprilia sxv 550 description

I am selling a 2009 Aprilia SXV550 supermoto. The bike is in excellent mechanical condition. It does show slight wear but in my opinion is in better condition than should be expected of a bike of its age and sort.

Motor and drive train are in stock form. The aftermarket is mainly lighting related items. I just wanted to clean up and make the bike look slimmer. I added Zeta hand guards with the integrated turn signal. The rear tail light has the turn signals integrated into it as well. I had to fabricate my own bracket to hold the lic plate. I have also added sliders and spools to the bike. The bike has a Ceet griper cover as well as stomp grip traction/protection kit. Tires are near new.

This bike needs nothing.

The Netherlands hosted a dramatic weekend of World Superbike racing that featured a red-flagged wet race, several riders crashing while leading, a first-time race winner, a photo finish between two teammates and the reigning World Champion finishing out of the points because of a poor choice of tires. The 2011 WSBK Champion Carlos Checa arrived at Assen with the lead in the championship and a three-race winning streak, but opting to run wet tires in Race Two cost him the lead and may have contributed to a crash that severely injured Liberty Racing‘s Brett McCormick. 2014 Aprilia Tuono V4 R Gets ABS and Horsepower Upgrade

Aprilia has updated its Tuono V4 R for 2014, equipping the naked sportbike with anti-lock brakes, enlarging the fuel tank and pumping more horses from its 1000cc V4 engine. The Aprilia Tuono was already a favorite here at Motorcycle.com, and the latest updates should only reinforce that opinion. The Bosch 9MP ABS adds a degree of safety while only adding 4.4 pounds to the Tuono’s weight.

Aprilia SRV850 Maxi-Scooter Gets Optional ABS and Traction Control

Aprilia announced it will produce a new version of the SRV850 maxi-scooter with an anti-lock braking system and traction control. The Aprilia SRV850 ABS/ATC is the latest scooter from the Piaggio Group to include both technologies, following the Piaggio BV350 and the Piaggio X10. The Aprilia SRV850 uses a sensors located in both wheels.
