Aprilia rsv1000r description

Only 2,907 original miles on this 2008 Aprilia RSV 1000 R, outstanding condition on this Ohlins equipped V-Twin powerful Italian beauty superbike.

No scratches or accidents, I bought it from a friend 2 years ago and it has always been kept in a temperature controlled garage.
Just had a $300 service - oil and filter changed, chain tension adjusted and lubricated, front and rear brakes fluid replaced, clutch was purged - everything done to keep it in like new conditions.

It also comes with a brand new- in the box- battery that I bought a while ago in case I needed it but haven't installed yet and the rear passenger red seat.

The RSV 1000 R is more of a true supersport than any other bike. Its individual character, its advanced engine and frame technology, and its original, aggressive, yet elegant and typically Italian styling establish it in a class of its own. The RSV’s V twin engine delivers unbelievable power that can be used to the full with total confidence. In the right hands, the RSV is the fastest and most aggressive of all supersports on the road, and even more so on the track.

Not only is the RSV 1000 R fast, competitive, easy and enjoyable to ride, it is also far more comfortable and aerodynamic than it competitors. Its styling is uniquely aggressive and instantly recognisable too. Bigger and more imposing than other 1000cc bikes, the RSV nevertheless boasts a Cx similar to that of a Moto GP racing machine, while affording a level of comfort that is amazing for a sports bike.

The RSV 1000 R Factory is the best twin cylinder superbike that money can buy and this one with very low miles, feels, performs and looks like factory brand new !

The first ever World Superbike round in Malaysia offered a plenty of drama including both factory Kawasaki riders crashing out on the first lap, a red flagged second race and an overall impressive outing by Aprilia. Under pressure for his lack of results so far this season, Marco Melandri impressed, earning the double for his first career wins on the RSV4 Factory. Aprilia riders led every lap in both races at Sepang, including the red-flagged initial start for Race 2, with Sylvain Guintoli joining his teammate on the podium with a pair of second-place finishes.

Aprilia Officially Entering MotoGP In 2015, One Year Ahead Of Schedule

Fri, 12 Sep 2014

Aprilia has announced today that it will be re-entering the MotoGP World Championship starting in 2015, one year ahead of schedule. Aprilia has struck a four-year long partnership with Gresini Racing, which currently fields Alvaro Bautista and Scott Redding aboard Honda machinery. With rumors of Gresini’s Go&Fun sponsorship evaporating next year, the deal with Aprilia breathes new life into the team, which can now remain in MotoGP.  The press release is vague as to the machinery Aprilia will use next year, but it’s widely believed the 2015 bike will be a massaged version of the RSV4-based ART machine currently being campaigned by Danilo Petrucci.
