Beach. BTW, I took the scenic route on the way back because it was just more fun! It is as quick as my brother s Harley yet infinately easier to ride. Are parts available? As long as the internet works! I have a source that in Texas that often sells OEM parts at a FRACTION of retail. Security immobilizer system with transponder encoded keys. Is it fun? Ever play with matches? (You know that answer) If you want 50 - 60 MPG of unconventional two wheeled fun, this one deserves a look. Clean title. 2012 Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200 First Impressions

Thu, 08 Mar 2012

Our European Correspondent Tor Sagen is in Sicily, Italy, this week testing the Aprilia Dorsoduro 1200. We’ll have a full review coming up but first here are Tor’s first impressions. I’ve just finished testing the updated version of Aprilia‘s Dorsoduro 1200.

How I'll remember Marco

Tue, 25 Oct 2011

I think we'll all be mourning the loss of Marco Simoncelli for a long time yet; his full potential will remain an unanswerable topic of many pub debates for years to come. But one thing's for sure: he was unique and this year he injected so much energy, plenty of controversy and a whole load of 'what ifs' to the sport. I must admit, for years I used to sacrifice whatever was happening on a Sunday to make sure I could watch the GP but this year I haven't seen every race, it just hasn't been the same: Stoner has been dominant, the grid has been embarrassingly low on numbers, Rossi has been absent and the battles have - in general - not been memorable.

Aprilia Files Appeal for Monza Race 2 WSBK Results

Thu, 16 May 2013

As expected, Aprilia has filed an appeal with the International Motorcycling Federation‘s International Disciplinary Court for the finish to the second race of the past weekend’s World Superbike Championship round at Italy’s Monza circuit. The race ended in controversy stemming from Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes running wide on a corner and missing a chicane on the final lap. Sykes was in third place at the time ahead of Aprilia‘s Sylvian Guintoli, and was able to return to the track ahead of Guintoli, crossing the finish less than a second ahead of the Aprilia rider to take third place.
