2013 Aprilia SR Motard 50, The SR Motard is the new supermoto-inspired scooter from Aprilia, designed for riders who want an affordable, practical and reliable 50cc 4-stroke scooter without compromising on desirability, style or fun. True to its supermoto inspiration, the SR Motard is characterized by aggressive, minimalist and compact styling. It s large and comfortable saddle bears color-coded red fabric and sporty white stitching, setting the SR Motard apart from every other scooter on the market. The large helmet compartment is big enough for a flip up helmet. While most scooters feature 12 wheels, the SR Motard boasts gloss black 14" wheels with five double spokes for increased style, presence and handling prowess.

Preliminary 2012 MotoGP Entry List Released
Fri, 13 Jan 2012The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 MotoGP World Championship. The provisional list includes 21 riders in the premiere class, including nine classified as Claiming Rule Team entries. Defending MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner will wear the #1 plate for the 2012 season, the first with both CRT entries and the new 1000cc engine displacement cap.
Max Biaggi Announces Retirement
Wed, 07 Nov 2012Max Biaggi will retire as a champion, announcing his decision to step away from the sport after winning his second World Superbike Championship by just half a point. The man known as the Corsair and the Roman Emperor announced his retirement this morning at a press conference at the Vallelunga circuit near Rome, Italy. Biaggi ends his 21-year international racing career with six world championships, with four consecutive 250cc Grand Prix titles from 1994 to 1997 to go along with his 2010 and 2012 WSBK titles.
Aprilia SR Max Touring Scooter Unveiled
Wed, 22 Jun 2011Aprilia has unveiled a new touring scooter, the Aprilia SR Max, available in 125cc and 300cc configurations. Okay, perhaps “new” isn’t the right word for it, as the SR Max is a rebadged version of the Nexus from Aprilia’s Piaggo Group stablemate, Gilera. It’s also not clear if Aprilia will import the SR Max to North America, but the scooter is more likely to pop up here, where Aprilia already offers the SR 50 scooter, with its new name, than it would as a Gilera.
