Honda CT description

1978 Honda CT70 Trail 70 - Used - Restoration project or parts bike

Bike is currently not running.  Engine kicks over well, it is not seized, and has good compression (see pic of compression test).  Bike is missing some easily obtainable parts but does not need much to make it run, but it will need some work.

This bike is well used.  It came to us as a package deal along with another CT70 we bought with the thought of restoring it but we will not have the time so we figured we would give someone else a shot at it.  Bike can also be parted out to another bike or sold for parts - great value either way.

Bike will come with a notarized bill of sale, no title.  Frame ID nos. CT70-2704823.  Engine ID nos. CT70E-2704841.

This is a NO RESERVE auction, winning bidder gets the item.

Shipping or crating is NOT available for this item.  If delivery is needed we can arrange for up to 100 miles from zip code 07446 for a charge.  Full payment for bike and delivery must be paid in advance for delivery.  Please review the additional check out instructions before bidding.

Thanks for looking and good luck in bidding.  If you have any questions or need additional detail pics feel free to ask before bidding.

Check out my 100% positive feedback and bid with confidence.

Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season

Thu, 01 Sep 2011

Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.

Joey Dunlop on a V4 Honda at the '83 TT

Fri, 28 Sep 2012

Onboard video footage doesn't get a lot better than this: Joey Dunlop during practice at the TT in 1983 onboard a factory Honda RS850R. An 859cc ultra-short stroke V4 Honda that Joey mastered around The Island, later winning the TT Formula 1. Although the 'production' race, the RS850R stretched that to the limit.

Deus Ex Machina CRF450X Cafe Racer

Mon, 21 Apr 2014

We’ve featured custom motorcycles from Deus Ex Machina before and for good reason. Michael “Woolie” Wollaway, the in-house bike builder for the Venice, California location, makes some fantastic creations. This one, however, is especially interesting.
