THE BOTTOM LINE...
This Spyder is in a non-running state. There are two main problems with the bike. First, on of the post of the starter gears is wallowed out and needs to be re-sleeved. This may be fixable with a new gasket and new exterior cover. The second problem is the unit needs a new clutch rebuild. There are some other problems with the unit, such as: parking brake sensor, gas tank vent, tear in the seat, and some LH lower exterior parts panels but they are minor compared to the engine work. There may be other problems that we do not know of since the bike is currently non-running. If local then please come by and review the unit in person.
However, if you are a mechanic that knows these Spyders or a mechanic of decent knowledge then you could have a bike running fairly cheaply. The title is clean and the unit is ready to go. This is a great deal in a NO RESERVE auction. NADA is over $15,000 for this bike - BID NOW and get it well below retail for the fall riding season!!!
