This is a "programmable action robot" with lights and sound.  It's obviously inspired from V.I.N.CENT from the Disney movie "The Black Hole".  It doesn't appear dated either non the box or product.  The under side of the bot reads "British Registered Design". 

I placed batteries inside and it worked with lights and sound.  It's movements are programmable via the buttons on top of its head.  Item is approximately 6" tall by 6" wide.

Included are the box and the direction booklet.  The boxs show heavy wear with rips and tears from use and storage.  The styrofoam inserts and instruction sheet are dirty.  

 The robot itself is in very good working  condition and it displays nicely. Please see photos for details.  This particular version is white in color.  I also have the grey colored Compurobot version listed in a separate auction.
