Ural holds record in Bonneville

Sun, 07 Aug 2016

Since 1914, there has been no Russian motorcycle in the history of racing in the salt fields of Utah. The Fine Custom Mechanics team changed history by making a name for themselves at Speed Week in the USA. On a two-mile distance, the Bonny, a custom-made bike with an Ural engine, managed to accelerate the bike to 97 mph. It was a warm-up, after which the motorcycle engine failed. Fortunately, the Americans gave the guests from Russia a warm welcome and helped to restore the bike in the shortest possible time. After the official races took place, following results were recorded: 94 mph at a distance of ¼ mile, 81.3 mph in the standings. The best result is 96.9 mph.
