Kiyonari's Suzuka crash video

You can start playing the video above while you read this article. The crash happens from 2m20s in.

Poor old Ryuichi Kiyonari and Jonathan Rea. The pair were racing for the  F.C.C TSR team and after the first stint, Kiyo has taken them to within six seconds off the lead, after coming back from 10th at the first corner. Rea set out on his first stint and brought the bike back in with a 23-second lead.

Kiyo just had to maintain the lead, a tough task but well within his ability. However, he crashed out on lap 58, probably on oil left from a Yamaha crashing on the same corner a lap earlier.

Despite getting the bike back to the pits, the team retired. On his Twitter page, Rea was to the point: "No words!".
