Josh Hayes To Wear RS Taichi In 2014

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha rider Josh Hayes will be sporting a new look this upcoming racing season. The three-time AMA Pro Racing SuperBike Champion will be protected by RS Taichi racing leathers and gloves while aboard his Yamaha YZF-R1 SuperBike.

After a long-standing relationship with Teknic, his previous protective gear provider who ceased operation last year, Josh had an opportunity to go in a new direction. And, as is customary with Josh, he did his homework, considered a number of manufacturers, and talked to his fellow competitors about the protective gear they wear. After careful consideration, Josh wanted to wear RS Taichi leathers and gloves, and he contacted Audrey Menarik, who is Director of Dealer Development for RS Taichi Group, USA, and is also Owner/Operator of Moto Liberty, RS Taichi’s exclusive U.S. distributor.

“RS Taichi and Moto Liberty have been involved in road racing here in the U.S. for a long time,” Josh said, “certainly as long as I’ve been racing, so I am very familiar with them, and both brands have excellent reputations and are highly respected in the racing community. Safety has always been of utmost importance to me, so I’m really happy to be able to race in RS Taichi leathers and gloves. Their quality is excellent, and they’ve got a lot of style, as well. I’m proud to have my name, along with the Yamaha brand, on RS Taichi leathers.”

RS Taichi has been developing and manufacturing leather racing suits and apparel for more than 30 years. For more information, visit the RS Taichi Group, USA, Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/RSTaichiUSAOfficial.
