2006 Yamaha Yzfrr1yw , Selling my 06 Yamaha R1 special anniversary edition with only 15,000 miles on it for 6,700.0 . The bike is clean INSIDE OUT ! ITS Looks NEW and SHOW ROOM CONDITION! No scratches or dent. With a smoke windshield, frame sliders and mirrors with blinkers integrated. What you is what you get. New Front tire, the back tire have a lot of tread left on them. Maintenance was done as scheduled, also the battery has just been replaced since the bike was rarely ridden (garage kept). I also have 3 Jackets for all seasons and Three Helmets ( shoei + scorpion + Roof) with extra wind shields, two bike stands and three pairs of gloves and ALL THAT FOR 500.00 MORE!!!!!! Katsuyuki Nakasuga, the surprise podium finisher at last year’s MotoGP finale in Valencia, will have the chance to catch lightning in a bottle once again, after being granted a wild card entry to the 2013 Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi. Nakasuga shocked the racing world with a second-place finish at the Valencian Grand Prix last November as an injury replacement for then-Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies. Nakasuga made the cagey decision to run slick tires in the wet race.

ANOTHER CRACKING BIT of vintage racing footage, this time featuring multiple motorcycle world champion Phil Read on the awesome-sounding MV Agusta 500-4.The footage is from the 1974 movie 'The Iron Horse' made by Frenchman Pierre-William Glenn.Read’s 1974 500cc World Championship victory was the last year a four-stroke won the world title before the advent of the MotoGP class in 2002. Giacomo Agostini won the crown from Yamaha in 1975, followed by Suzuki-mounted Barry Sheene in '76 and '77. The footage is bloody good, considering the camera technology of the day.

Tommy Aquino Dies in Motocross Accident

California racer Tommy Aquino has died after a crash involving another rider at Piru Ranch MX in Piru, Calif. According to the Ventura County Star, the 21-year-old professional racer died in a head-on collision shortly before 12:30 pm on Feb. 2.
