If you're looking for a fun entry level sportbike then look no further, This 2015 Yamaha YZF-R3 is the bike for you. With only 26 miles (Yes, that is the correct and actual mileage)and under factory warranty you cant go wrong. The bike was dropped at a very low speed and it scratched the fairing and the exhaust and you can see this in the pictures, other than that this bike is BRAND NEW (used) The 321 cc engine has plenty of power to pull through all of the gears strong and run down the highway with ease, this is a very fun bike to ride. The previous owner bought the bike to learn on and after falling decided against bikes. The scratches do not hurt anything and they are not noticeable on the body and the exhaust silencer can either be replaced with a performance exhaust or just repainted as it isnt that scratched. Day 1 Dakar 2014: Barreda Draws First Blood
Mon, 06 Jan 2014Team HRC’s Joan Barreda on the Honda CRF450 Rally, got off to a storming start in day one of the 2014 Dakar rally, clocking up the fastest time of all the 175 riders at the first time-check. The former Husqvarna rider who moved to Honda in the middle of the season inaugurated his 2014 Dakar with an acrobatic performance. The motorcycle competition was expected to be wide open, and that is indeed what the classification shows after the opening stage. It was a very early start for the Rally Dakar. The pack of riders headed off at four in the morning on a long 251 miles that took them towards the vibrant city of Rosario for the start of the 112 mile special.
AMA to Combine Daytona Sportbike and Supersport Classes in 2015
Wed, 04 Dec 2013AMA Pro Racing announced plans to combine its Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes into a single category by the 2015 season. The two classes currently share many similarities including engine displacement regulations, minimum weight limits and eligible machines. The Supersport class has more restrictions on modifications and are limited to a maximum top speed of 165 mph while Daytona Sportbike machines are allowed to reach speeds up to 170 mph.
3J’s Charity Track Day Raises $30k
Fri, 02 May 2014Since 2003, 3J’s Motorcycle Track Days have generated nearly $450,000 for charity. This year, the event’s 20th annual, 3J’s raised more than $30,000 for Speedway Children’s Charities. Nearly 120 riders converged on Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California for a day of riding around the 12-turn, 2.28-mile road course.
