Hello up for Purchase today is a very nice Yamaha YZ 85 dirt bike. Ready to ride or Race! Great Christmas Gift! I took this bike in on trade and i will list all that i know about it. This is a list of new parts added in the last few months. It has fresh built 2006 motor with Boysen Carbon reeds. a new gold series FMF pipe and silencer. It has new rebuilt water pump. New Carburetor. New chain. New Sprockets. New Rear Tire. New Hand Grips. New Adj Piggy back Shock. New Rad Hose. New spark Plug. New Clutches. It features a Renthel Handel Bar and after market shifter. I can send pictures of the recipts showing over 600 in parts and work done in past few months. It Rides well and Very fast. I do not know the specs on the motor but with the current gearing it will run 85mph by radar. The only two things i see that are not in terrific condition is the front tire it holds air and plenty of tread but has many weather cracks. and the gas tank looks like it was repaired on the front of tank. Ben Spies Leaving Yamaha At End of 2012 MotoGP Season
Tue, 24 Jul 2012MotoGP racer Ben Spies has announced he will not re-sign with Yamaha while hinting at an impending announcement for his plans for the 2013 racing season. Earlier this week, Spies used Twitter (@BenSpies11) to hint at a change for next season. In an email to SuperbikePlanet, Spies confirmed he has decided not to remain with Yamaha for several unspecified reasons.
Yamaha Reports 2013 Sales Results
Wed, 12 Feb 2014Yamaha reported a 1.2% decrease in motorcycle sales in 2013 but managed to increase its net sales revenue by 16.2%, thanks in large part to the depreciation of the Japanese yen. According to the company’s 2013 fiscal report, Yamaha sold 6,014,000 motorcycles last year, down slightly from 6,090,000 sold in 2012. The good news however, is most of the sales decrease was limited to Thailand and Vietnam where the economy worsened in 2013, while Yamaha’s sales increased in nearly all other markets.
2011 Yamaha Vino Classic Recalled for Drum Brake Issue
Thu, 26 Sep 2013Yamaha is recalling 2011 Vino Classic scooters because of a problem with its brakes. More specifically, the brake shoe linings may separate from the shoe due to a lack of proper adhesion, reducing brake performance and increasing the risk of a crash. The problem can affect both the front and rear drum brakes.
