Yamaha YX600 RADIAN tech info
Yamaha YX600 RADIAN description
This was the first motorcycle I really put miles on, all over the state. Between my 2 motorcycles, it is my fair weather bike since it has no faring--my choice on any hot or warm day. I have ridden my radian in everything except snow and ice. I have 2 motorcycles and this is my less practical as it has less storage--it has 1 GIVI mount for luggage--so it is the one I am selling. I bought this in 2008 with about 10,000 miles on and since the plates expired this April, I haven't ridden it much. I replaced the mirrors with quality bar end mirrors, the pitiful factory horn with a Stebel Nautilus airhorn, added a cigarette lighter outlet, Marlin clock/thermometer and 2 Ram Mount balls. Tires are good. I still have the factory grab bar, though I don't think I have the factory mirrors. They are useless as all you see is your biceps. I tracked my gas mileage for months and it seemed to consistently get 38-42 miles per gallon. Replaced the starter (2010?) and the battery is a sealed one--not the OEM one where you add water. Carburetors rebuilt in about 2008.
