Yamaha XT description

You are bidding on a beautiful, in excellent condition with original miles, 1981 Yamaha XT 500. This bike was a nostalgic purchase with the goal in mind to have a retirement toy. Next thing, live happened! Before it sits in the garage collecting dust, I'd rather find it a new home. That thumper likes to purr.

The bike is original except for the carburetor. Recent oil change done. It is currently tagged and  starts on the first 3 kicks running like a charm. With it comes a slew of parts, i.e. 12V conversion kit, new set of tires/tubes, maintenance manual, gasket set, shaft seals, progressive springs and other bits and pieces totaling close to $500

It was actually the thirty second kick – thirty of those spent frothing up a heady sweat until I realised the main fuel pipe was kinked to buggery.
