Awesome running riding chopper. I built this bike over the past few years. Custom 2" extended 2" drop hard tail with molded super narrow sporty tank. The whole frame is molded and panel painted with ppg single stage white and a custom mix of house of color candy gold and gold flake. One off sissy bar, bars, exhaust, seat. Gold flake and white tuck n roll upholstery. One off electronics and battery box upholstered with white pleats. 23" front spool wheel with new tire. 18" drum brake rear wheel. Tc brothers forward controls. New rebuilt 1975 xs650 engine. Runs great. Starts up first or second kick. Lots of time and money put into this bike I just have a bunch of other projects I need to finish. Clean title in hand and I also have the original engine. serious buyers only. Yamaha “Dark Side of Japan” Teases New Model Launching June 11 – Video

Yamaha has released a video teasing a new model it claims “is about to change the sport motorcycle world.” The video, called “The Dark Side Of Japan“, reveals little detail about the new model but promises all will be unveiled June 11. The video includes images from Japan’s vibrant nightlife and lively sub-culture,with youths in costume and exotic hair and makeup dancing in clubs. The new model will reflect this side of Japan, with Yamaha calling it a “new kind of brutal animal”.

Dunlop’s Newest DOT Race Tire: the Sportmax GP-A Pro

Dunlop has released its newest DOT-legal racing tire, the Sportmax GP-A Pro. Being the spec tire manufacturer for the AMA Pro Roadracing series gives Dunlop plenty of top-level R&D test riders to develop the next line of tires. Couple that with the company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Buffalo, New York, and the days of grabbing a set of UK tires over their American counterparts is over.

2013 AMA Superbike Daytona Race Report

The story leading up to the opening round of the 2013 AMA Pro National Guard Superbike season was whether anyone would be able to keep up with defending champion Josh Hayes. After all, the Monster Energy Graves Yamaha rider dominated the competition last season winning 16 of 20 races including a string of 10 in a row. The season-opening round at Daytona International Speedway appeared to start on script with Hayes qualifying in pole position.
