Yamaha XS description

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE AD! READ THE ENTIRE AD!!! Thank you. 1981 XS650. It needs a minor cleaning and buffing from sitting in the garage. Will need minor little things. Does not leak.  Always stored inside. I bought this to make a Cafe' Racer but just don't have the time right now. I have not run this one in a couple of years. It has all the gears and great compression. She will need a new battery, minor carb clean etc from sitting. Perfect for someone who wants a beautiful original or a Cafe base to start from. I AM NOT GIVING IT AWAY SO FORGET THE STUPID LOWBALL OFFERS. I will just part it out. I am not getting her going. If I had the time for that i'd cafe' it and ride it myself or sell it for double the price atleast. This will be a super easy project for anyone. Take a good look at the pictures and email me if you have a question. AGAIN TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THE PICTURES. You can zoom in etc to get a good look. NO PAYPAL. Must be paid for in 7 days. Storage is no problem as long as its paid for first. YOU CAN COME SEE IT ANYTIME. Buyer pays and arranges all shipping. You must contact me within 48 hours after buying or it will be relisted. You won't be disappointed. I BOUGHT IT TO CUSTOMIZE IT. IT CAME WITH A BILL OF SALE SO I'M SELLING IT WITH A BILL OF SALE ONLY. Check with your local DMV if you have any title or regie questions. In most states old bikes are very easy to get paper work for. In some states its a real pain. 2012 Yamaha TMax Scooter Unveiled At EICMA

Wed, 09 Nov 2011

Not one to rest on its laurels, Yamaha’s sportbike/scooter hybrid, the TMax, was unveiled earlier today at EICMA with a few important upgrades to keep it ahead of the competition. The most apparent change from the previous generation TMax is the redesigned bodywork, which boasts an even more aggressive look while maintaining the classic TMax looks. The distinctive double headlights, enhanced accent lines, and an upwards-swooping LED tail assembly all lend to highlight the TMax’s sporting nature.

Magneti Marelli to Supply Electronics System to MotoGP Teams

Wed, 26 Sep 2012

It’s no secret that promoter Dorna Motorsports has been trying to push a standardized electronics control unit for teams in the MotoGP World Championship. The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.

And in my front room this evening...

NO IT'S NOT an illusion: you're looking at the 1981 Yamaha OW53, ridden by double World Champion Barry Sheene in the first three rounds of the '81 500GP championship. The bike's owner, aircraft engineering entrepreneur Chris Wilson, has lent the £100,000 GP machine to Visordown for our stand at this year's NEC Motorcycle Show - 27th November to 6th December 2009. Sheene raced the bike in the 1981 championship, where he finished fourth at Salzburgring, sixth at Hockenheim and third at Monza.
