Yamaha XS description

Up for bid is my 1979 XS11. New paint last year. Very clean and runs and shifts well. Currently has pod filters on , stock air box comes with it. It would run even better with stock air box on because the pods restrict the air flow and cause a problem at full throttle. If your familiar with the bike you know they put out good HP. I put a new tire on the front 3 years ago and the back looks ok. It has not been plated since I added to my collection in march 2010. Nice older performance touring bike. Thanks for looking. Questions are welcome. Fred

The race started with MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot with Muscle Milk Honda‘s Justin Barcia and Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart on his tail.

Buy Kini Red Bull Gear, Support Wings For Life

Unfortunately, spinal cord injuries occasionally happen when something goes tragically wrong on a motorcycle. Former 250cc Motocross World Champion Heinz Kinigadner and Red Bull have teamed up to create the Kini Red Bull Collection of high-end MX gear. Proceeds from each sale directly benefits the Wings For Life Foundation, whose mission is to find a cure for spinal cord injuries.

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
