Up for sale is a 2006 Yamaha Virago 250 cc (XV250) with 18,XXX miles. I'm getting a car and no longer have any use for it.The bike has a new battery, spark plugs, oil, and upholstered seats. Accessories that have been added include saddlebags, saddlebag support brackets, and a windshield with a small pouch for readily accessible items. I have also cleaned the carburetor, polished the paint and chrome, and cleaned and lubricated all cables. The bike is dimensionally larger than the Honda Rebel or Suzuki GZ250 which makes it perfect for a larger rider. I am 5'11" and weigh 215lbs and I am able to comfortably ride on the highway at 80 mph. My name is Nick and I can be reached at. Please do not email me. 2013 Dakar Rally Route Announced
Thu, 22 Nov 2012The 2013 Dakar Rally will again be held in South America with event organizers announcing a new route for the 34th running of the off-road race. Now in its fifth year in Latin America, the 2013 edition of the Rally will feature a new route running from north to south, starting Jan. 5 in Lima, Peru, and ending Jan.
2012 Yamaha XT250 and TW200 Dual Sports Announced
Wed, 08 Jun 2011Yamaha unveiled a pair of 2012 dual sport models, the Yamaha XT250 and the Yamaha TW200. Both the 2012 Yamaha XT250 and TW200 remain unchanged from the 2011 versions except for a new white and blue color scheme and white front fenders instead of last year’s black fenders. The XT250 is powered by an air-cooled 249cc four-stroke engine with a 33mm carburetor.
