Up for auction is a clean 2009 Yamaha VStar 650 Classic. It is gray in color with a lot of chrome accents, saddle bags and has only 2573 miles on this beauty. It is also advertised locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it is sold. A non-refundable payment of $500.00 will be due immediately via PayPal at the end of the auction. Spies Second at Sepang Test Day Two; Lorenzo Third

Yamaha factory rider Ben Spies led for most to the second day of MotoGP testing at Sepang before settling for the second best lap the time sheets behind defending World Champion Casey Stoner. Spies rode 37 laps and recorded a time of 2:01.052, which stood as the fastest lap in the morning session. That time was surpassed later in the afternoon by Repsol Honda rider Stoner by 0.157 seconds.

After hearing much about this new “Cross-plane crankshaft” technology, we were ready to write it off as media hype and PR propaganda, but it turns out that the Yamaha R1 has actually tightened the gap between MotoGP technology and street applications.

In addition to introducing a new two-stroke model, Yamaha has updated its flagship 4T enduro, the WR450F. The motorcycle used the YZ450F motocross engine layout with the cylinder turned back and the intake and exhaust turned 180 degrees. The engine is housed in a new aluminum frame based on the aforementioned YZ450F.
