Yamaha Pro Am madness, the best one make championship ever?

Sat, 18 Dec 2010

I’m biased of course, but the best one make road race championship has to be the Yamaha RD 350LC Pro Am series. Back in the days when manufacturers had spare cash (1980 to be precise), Mitsui Yamaha organised this televised championship at major British race meetings to promote the recently launched, and now iconic, Yamaha RD350LC. The app requires the device to be firmly fixed to the motorcycle in either a vertical or horizontal arrangement (the app is compatible with iPhones, iPods and iPads, though I’m not sure how many people will mount a tablet to their motorcycle).

From minimotos to 1800 Goldwings, there's always some fun to be had even if it is just the novel experience that makes you grin. I am not one for a pidgeonhole, that's for sure.
