Yamaha V Star description

NO RESERVE!!!!!!! HIGHEST BIDDER WINS THIS LIKE NEW BIKE!
Like new 2007 Yamaha V-star classic 650 with full rear saddle bags, matching handlebar bag and luggage rack. Has driver fairing which really helps keep the wind off of you on rides so less fatigue. Very low miles! 60 mpg all day long. Has full driver floor boards and leisure cruise foot rests. Black with silver ghost flames. Lots of chrome. Seats are perfect not a tear or fade always garage stored. Has driver and passenger back rest, and cup holder for these hot summer days riding. Driver back rest is only cosmetic flaw the leather is peeling. But still in good usable shape. Clutch, brakes, tires and everything works perfect and like new. No scratches etc. and never dropped. Brand new cobra pipes just installed, sounds awesome. I still have the original mufflers in perfect shape if the price goes over 3200 I will throw them in also at no additional cost or if below I will sell them separate if wanted. I also have the original air filter assembly and a new K&N air filter never installed for a small price if wanted. Also just installed new HYPERCHARGER SUPERCHARGER. STAN at d&s cycle installed it for me in west plains, missouri, and he also synchronized, cleaned and adjusted carbs. Runs, idles and rides like a new one at a fraction of the price, plus has lots of extras already installed. All fluids and filters replaced this summer also so ready to ride now. Custom installed beverage holder, a great accessory for the warm weather riding now. ?? just ask
Can be seen and rode at my home in Pomona, Mo. I would also consider delivering for .50 cents per mile from 65789 to your zip after paid in full. Thanks for looking and good luck.

Mackenzie Tricker Looks To Pad WMX Points Lead At Glen Helen Raceway Sunday

Thu, 10 Apr 2014

Having won the opening two rounds of the 2014 Women’s Motocross Championship (WMX) – at the AMA sanctioned Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross at Daytona International Speedway in Florida, and at the James Stewart Freestone Spring Championship in Wortham, Texas, Australia’s Mackenzie Tricker comes into this weekend’s race at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, California, with momentum on her side and a 17-point lead in the series standings. Round three of the Women’s Motocross Championship (WMX) will run in conjunction with the FMF California Classic, which runs from April 9 through April 13, with both WMX motos taking place on Sunday. So far, Tricker has won three of the four motos held to date, and the Yamaha-backed rider is hoping to pad her lead in the series standings with a good finish this weekend.

Filling a void with an RD350LC

Mon, 29 Jul 2013

Last winter I managed to fill a void in my life when I stumbled on a very reasonably priced Yamaha RD350LC.  It was a tad scruffy, had the wrong exhausts but most importantly it was blue and white with all numbers matching.  I had the usual euphoria when the deal was done but I underestimated how much pleasure this particular purchase would continue to deliver another eight months down the line. The difference with this old bike is, instead of just taking it for the occasional ride I was talked into doing a full nut and bolt restoration.  Having never taking a bike apart completely before, initially it was quite daunting but I soon found the RD is easy to work on so it turned into a truly satisfying experience.  I’ve had some help from LC enthusiasts with the rebuild, however, the stripping, sourcing and organising was a total labour of love.  And call me sad but it has made me bond with this bike like no other which only adds to the feel good factor.  The bike cost £1800 and I’ve spent around £1000 but I reckon my mint Elsie is now worth a fair bit more.   I fancy rejuvenating a Fizzy  next time but there’s lots of other cheap 70’s and 80’s winter projects  out there so why not have a go yourself?
