Yamaha V Max description

For sale is my '96 V-Max (Yamaha VMX1200). This snarling beast is jetted, has a Kirker 4-into-1 pipe, many other upgrades. Recently serviced, and has a brand new Yuasa battery.

The bike runs and sounds great. It's not in a showroom or museum condition, but it's dependable and very, very fast. Bike has 32,219 miles on it. Clean title. It's located in Coral Springs, garaged.  Any questions, or need more photos, just ask.

Yamaha Reports Q2 2013 Sales Results

Yamaha bounced back from a poor first quarter with sales of 1.530 million motorcycles over the second quarter ended June 30, 2013. The results represent a 1.5% increase from the 1.507 million motorcycles sold in the same quarter last year. Still, Yamaha’s first half motorcycle sales total of 3.0 million units remains behind last year’s tally of 3.1 million units because of the weak first quarter sales.

The announcement came during the pre-event press conference ahead of this weekend’s Austin MotoGP race — Edwards’ home round. The two-time World Superbike champion cited a lack of progress from winter testing as one reason for the decision.
