1998 Yamaha VMax, which I've owned since 2004. It is all original except wonderful Corbin seat with removable back rest ("wife-saver"). I have original seat. Tires are excellent, engine/drive have had all fluids replaced, including drive shaft. Full synthetic always. Nearly flawless, no corrosion. Heated garage, (no moisture) Fastest bike when introduced unseating Honda Magna...Comfortable, but super bike fast with wonder sound and great engine. I have too many bikes, thinning out the herd a bit, at age 71....

Runaway Bus Crashes Into Russian Yamaha Dealership

A similar incident happened last weekend in Russia after a runaway bus plowed into a powersports dealerships that sold Yamaha, Can-Am and Honda products. Tue, 07 Jan 2014Joan Barreda won his second special stage this year and now boasts a lead of more than 13 minutes over Cyril Despres and Marc Coma, the two other beneficiaries of a particularly decisive stage. Today’s stage, part one of the first marathon stage with no team service, was characterized by the highest ever racing altitude in Dakar history. Facing the 22,841 foot summit of the Aconcagua, South America´s highest mountain, the motorcycle riders had to cross a pass over 14,107 feet in elevation in trial-like conditions.
Tapout Themed Yamaha R1 Unveiled at UFC 129 Fan Expo
Wed, 04 May 2011The Ultimate Fighting Championships recently held the largest event in its history in Toronto and the folks at Tapout decided to use the occasion to unveil a 2011 Yamaha R1 project bike. The bike was designed Toronto’s Flat Out Industries. As you may expect, it prominently features Tapout logos all over the bike, including on the wheels, along with a pretty sweet red, black and white color scheme.
